BOONEVILLE – Cecil Freeman, 79, died Sunday, October 12, 2014, at his home in the Pisgah community. He was born January 29, 1935, in Telico Plains, Tenn., to Ulis and Martha Duckett Freeman. He was in the automotive business and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed anything involving racing, from competing in drag strip and dirt track races to building race cars, flea markets, farming, football and carpentry work. He also loved his dogs.Visitation and viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 14, 2014, at Booneville Funeral Home with cremation to follow.He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marcella Wright Freeman of the Pisgah Community; three sons, Jefferey Freeman of Pleasant Point, West Virgina, Leo Freeman (Rene) of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, Willie Freeman (Carolyn) of Rienzi; three daughters, Deborah Thibodeau of Sparta, Kentucky, Margaret Foster (Robert) of Rienzi and Darla Day (Danny) of Rienzi; two sisters, Linda Vanderpool of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Barbara Turner of London, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Cecil Freeman Jr. and Timothy Wayne Freeman; two grandsons, Chris Grady and Shane Foster; two sisters, Betty Yanigga and Mini Sue Upton; and three brothers, Kermit Freeman, Aaron Freeman and Lawson Freeman.
