Eveline “Evelyn” Cole, age 82, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was born on September 13, 1933, in Prentiss County to George Lee and Susie Alma Brown Wardlow. She was a member of First Apostolic Church of Booneville. Evelyn enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, making flower arrangements, needle point, and working puzzles. She also loved cooking and spending time with her family. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eldon McVey officiating and Bro. Mark McCoy assisting. Burial will be in Martin Hill Church Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Wayne Cole (Cathy) of Longville, La. and Bobby Cole (Teresa) of Booneville; two daughters, Judy Boren (James) and Vicki Scott (Kenneth) both of Booneville; granddaughter, Amy Beth Bullard (Rusty); grandsons, Erick Boren (Amanda), Rodney Boren (Brenda), Timmy Boren (Mandy), Jason Scott (Sarah), Shane Scott, Justin Cole (Amy), Jordan Cole, John Mitchell (Stephanie), and Kelly Mitchell; twenty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Martha Brewer and Mary Carpenter; and special caregiver, Wanda Weaver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Wayne Cole on April 7, 1981; her parents; brothers, George F. Wardlow, Leonard Wardlow, John Wardlow, Norman Wardlow; sisters, Joann W. Sims and Betty Weavers. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandsons. Condolences may be extended to the family at boonevillefuneralhome.net.
