Jewel Bethelene Arnold, 85, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at the Cornerstone Health and Rehabilitation in Corinth. She was born August 9, 1930, to Arthur and Mittie Jones Mooney in Booneville. She was a member of Hills Chapel Baptist. She enjoyed working word search puzzles and watching game shows. She loved her dog, Poop and spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly. Funeral services will be Friday, March 25, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. at Hill’s Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Mitchell officiating and Curly Ward delivering the eulogy. Burial will be in the Mormon Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Booneville Funeral Home. The body will lie at the church Friday from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. She is survived by three sons, Wade Arnold (Wanda) of Hopewell, Jackie Arnold (Sandra) of Burnsville, Matthew Arnold (Jeanie) of Tuscumbia; one daughter, Garnette Wilemon (Ray Adams) of Booneville; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and Joe Clark, who she loved like her own. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Arnold on October 3, 1998; a son, Wayne Arnold; a daughter, Evelyn Pounds; her parents; four brothers, Dean Mooney, David Mooney, Billy Wade Mooney and Prentiss Clay Mooney.
