Karen Sue Schulenburg, age 60, died Monday, September 26, 2016 at Magnolia Regional Health Care in Corinth. She was born October 26, 1955 in Sewickly, PA to Robert Irion and Dorthy Zimmerman. She loved her family, her dogs Simmi and Molly, Solitaire, NASCAR, Topsail Island, “Rizzoli and Isles,” gardening, flowers, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Karen was a Lutheran. She is survived by her mother Dorthy Zimmerman of Moon Twp., PA, her husband Steve Schulenburg of Booneville, her son John Mark Schulenburg (Angelia) of Kenner, LA, two sisters Sandy Stiffler (Artie) of Glenwillard, PA and Joni Thac of Carnegie, PA, two brothers Robert Irion (Michele) of Connecticut, and Freddie Irion (Tammy) of Pittsburgh, PA. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Irion, her step-father Carl Zimmerman, and a brother Dennis Irion. Visitation will be Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 2 p.m. til 4 p.m. at the Booneville Funeral Home.
