Mr. Alvin Ellsworth Glen Obituary (1944

Alvin Ellsworth Glenn Jr., 70, died Monday, January 13, 2015, at Mississippi Care Center in Corinth. He was born in Prentiss County, Mississippi, October 8, 1944, to Alvin Sr. and Faye Marcella Sparks Glenn. He worked as a blueprint draftsman, and a truck driver. He enjoyed photography, woodworking, and listening to the music of Andre Rieu and Luciano Pavarotti. He was a member of New Bethel Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held 2:00P.M. Thursday, January 15, 2015, at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shawn Weaver and Bro. Doug Greenway officiating. Burial will be in Siloam United Methodist Church Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mary Grace "Gracie" Sillero Glenn whom he married September 14, 2006; two sons, Chris Glenn of Nashville, Tennessee and Craig Glenn (Sheri), of Marietta; the mother of his children, Sue Glenn of Booneville; two sisters, Faye Wenzel (Ronnie) and May Rowland (Gerald) both of Booneville; two sister-in-laws, Betty Glenn of Booneville, and Wilfreda Dalangin of Dumaguete, Philippines; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Wilfredo and Judith Sindiong Sillero of Dumaguete, Philippines; Aunts and Uncles, Lois and James Davis of Booneville, Betty and Robert Sparks of Selmer, Tennessee, and Sally Sassie of Marietta; and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Timothy David Glenn, and Russell Glenn.
