Beverly Edge

Booneville, Mississippi

On Saturday, October 10, 2026, Beverly Anette Edge ran into the loving arms of her Lord Jesus.

Beverly was born to Roger Finn and Judy Collins on December 15, 1967. Beverly met the love of her life, Jimmy, on October 23, 1992 by the divine will of God and they married on February 23, 1993. She gave her life to Jesus in May 1995 at Independent Church of God, and in 2008, she and Jimmy founded and began pastoring Victory Harvest Worship Center. Together Jimmy and Beverly built a life and home filled with love, grace, and forgiveness with their children, Coty, Samuel, Matthew, and Kayden. Her face would light up every time she saw them, especially those of her grandbabies, Nova and Lina.

Although diagnosed with cancer, Beverly never let it define her. Instead, she poured her life into loving and blessing others. She was a woman of unwavering faith, a strong spirit, and a stubbornness that was simply part of who she was. She stood firm in what she believed, never backed down from a challenge, and faced life’s hardships with a strength few could match. That determination helped her overcome obstacles that would have broken others and her faith in God carried her through life’s storms. She often quoted her favorite Bible verse - "I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me".

Beverly loved praising Jesus, watching her boys play sports, blessing her community through the Victory Thrift ministry, and her years at Danny’s Beef, where she built many enduring connections. Beverly was a wife, a mother, a friend, but most of all, a Godly woman of faith in her Lord Jesus Christ. She leaves behind a treasure of life, love, and legacy of faith and hope. It has been said by her honorary daughter that she gave a piece of her heart to everyone she met. Now we all carry a piece of her with us.

We will miss our sweet sister Beverly but we take comfort in knowing that she is celebrating with Jesus now and has been made completely whole, and for this we are thankful.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Roger Finn (Ruth) and Judy Cumberland (Sammy); her brothers, Stevie McKinney and Darryl; her sisters, Shelly Ford and Becky Deaton; and her son, Samuel Edge.

She is survived by her loving husband Jimmy; sons Coty (Chasity) and Matthew Edge, and Kayden Wilson; honorary daughter, Katelyn Barnes (Tyler); granddaughters, Nova and Lina; special aunts Nancy Rutherford and Peggy Finn; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and the many friendships she developed within the community through the years.

Services to celebrate Beverly’s tremendous life will be held at Booneville Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 11am with Cam and Scott Bane, Mike Lovell, Rickey Nichols, Justin Pettigo, and Semar Vaughan serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Tracy Arnold, Larry Dillard, Joey Langston, Mark McCoy, and Daniel Tucker. Open visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5-8pm and Tuesday at 10am. A graveside service will immediately follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
