Dale Vuncannon

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dale Renee Vuncannon, affectionately known by her grandchildren as NeeNee, on August 5, 2026. Born on July 17, 1963, in Jackson, Mississippi, to Charles and Janice Cox, Dale spent her entire life in the heart of the South, ultimately residing in Rienzi, Mississippi.

Dale leaves behind her loving daughters, Casey Palmer (Brandon), Jamie Burnett, and Lindsey Swindle(Bo); sister, Donna Huggins of Belmont; grandchildren, Noah Burnett (Jazzie), Leah Burnett, Stanton Sanders, Shelby Palmer, Fisher Brooks, Lucy Palmer, Caroline Swindle, and a sweet baby boy coming in October; a special friend, Eddie Fanning of Alabama. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Janice Cox.

We encourage all who knew and loved Dale to share their memories and upload photos to her memorial page. As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the love and joy she brought to our lives.
