Dorothy "Dot" Jean Wages Kimbrough

Dorothy Jean Wages Kimbrough, 65, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at NMMC Hospice in Tupelo. Dorothy was born in Seattle, Washington, on March 23, 1960, to Stanley Wages and Clara Faye Wages. Dorothy liked to travel, fish, cook, and grow flowers. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren. They were her favorite! She is survived by her daughters, Candi Stewart of Iuka, and Lorenda Palmer (Johan) of Booneville; brother, Jamie Wages; sisters, Patsy Davis (John) of Byhalia, and Patricia (Sissy) Wages of Jumpertown; grandchildren, Chase Abner, Samantha Garner, Addy Abner, Gregory Garner and Caiden Palmer; special friend, Georgia Roberts. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Booneville Funeral Home. A time for visiting with her family will be held one hour prior to services. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of assisting her family. She was preceded in death by husband, Dale Kimbrough; her parents; granddaughter, Madalyn Garner; sister, Sharon James; brother, Tommy Wages; and brother-in-law, Gerald James.
