Frances Hughes Owens Obituary (1932

Frances Hughes Owens, 85, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was born in Prentiss County to Archie and Mary Smith Miles on May 23, 1932. She had been a supervisor at Prentiss Manufacturing for 39 and a half years. She enjoyed going to church at Crestwood Baptist and Crossroads Full Gospel Church, fishing, crossword puzzles, and traveling with her sisters and sister-in-law. Frances always loved being with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all her family. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at 2:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro Caleb Davis and Dr. Joseph Pratt officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park. She is survived by her son, James E. Boren (Judy); daughter, Sue Brown; sisters, Daisy Thomas, Catherine Richardson all of Booneville; daughters-in-law, Carolyn Boren of Booneville and Nancy Boren of Florida; grandchildren, Debra Edge (Robert), Chris Brown (Amy), Brad Boren (Trish), Crystal Grimes (Gary), Erick Boren (Amanda), Rodney Boren, Timmy Boren (Mandy), all of Booneville, and Melissa Boren of Florida; 27 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of all her children, Ray Gene Boren, second beloved husband, Robert Hughes, and loving third husband, Bobby Owens; two sons, Kenneth Boren, and John Boren, brothers, Winfred Miles, Jesse Miles, Troy Miles; grandsons, David Brown and Larry Boren; and a son-in-law, Ray Brown. Pallbearers will be Chris Brown, Rodney Boren, Brad Boren, Erick Boren, Timmy Boren, and Gary Grimes. Condolences may be extended to the family at boonevillefuneralhome.net.
